Poetry Thursday: Puppets

This week’s poem comes from one of my oldest friends, Aaron. This is his second submission, his first can be found here, and I am glad he allowed me to post this particular poem. He had already posted it elsewhere, but when I read it I told him it would make a great piece for Poetry Thursday, and he agreed to let me post it. Poetry Thursday: Creation’s Apex

This week, I am honored to feature a poem by one of my oldest friends, Aaron Katreeb. When naming my oldest friends, and excluding family members, I think Aaron usually comes up second. I have known him for about ten years now, and we’ve gone through the usual ups and downs of a friendship that lasts that long; we have come to a place where we are now simply close, regardless of what distance and time does to either of us. Aaron has been there for me in hours of need, even when great distance separated us, and he and I have also shared more laughs than I would care to even count. I hope this will not be his last submission, and I hope you all enjoy it. Christ Abide.
